Carol Morgan, PhD

Carol Fetters-Morgan, Ph.D., an independent educational consultant, earned her PhD in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in reading education from Louisiana State University-Baton Rouge. Dr. Morgan specializes in academic reading and literacy using research-based strategies, interventions, and assessments for struggling readers, especially for instructional gaps created by the pandemic in 2020. For the past six years, Dr. Morgan has actively engaged K-8 struggling readers using multiple research-based data and assessments using strategies to bridge reading gaps since the Co-Vid instructional losses and presently serves as a researcher-interventionist in a private school setting.


As a current researcher, practicing Catholic, and lifelong Texas Educator and Administrator, she has served as a conference presenter for over a decade, has served as Master Teacher Site Consultant and author, and customizes professional development or coaching sessions to empower future literacy leaders. Carol is a trainer for the Texas Early Childhood Professional Development System (TECPDS) and is available for consulting or training sessions.
